Made Popular Dec 15 2005

The Ecofriend blog is for those who wish for an earth-friendly lifestyle. Consumer products which cause no or minimum harm to the environment are going to be covered extensively - eco-friendly electronic goods, attire for men, women and kids, kitchen products, home products, furniture, food & drink etc.

Our unending demand for energy is one of the main destroyers of our environment. Naturally, Ecofriend’s focus will also be on Renewable Energy options and innovations - bio-fuel, hybrid cars, solar & wind power etc. Soon, we will create a directory of environment-friendly products and manufacturers worldwide.

We welcome your tips in developing Ecofriend into a useful resource for all environment lovers. Also, do tell us how you like its design.

Nice visualisation - both contentwise as well as designwise. In this age of consumerism, eco concerns have taken a backseat. Despite so much brouhaha all around, to one’s dismay, little is actually taking concrete shape to save the planet Earth. In this backdrop, you will be doing real good to the humanity by highlighting products of mass consumption, which cause negligible or no harm at all to our environs. Hope to see the best of eco-friendly products on the blog. Best wishes. -Nirmal

I am an earnest member of Greenpeace. And am a fan of ecofriend also. We all feel for our environment, thats its deteriorating on every passing day. Thanks Irani for updating the latest from the ecology. And the best part is without sounding drab and dull the way you present the stories. Simply amazing.

Design is very nice. Although, not very rich in colours, the imagination that went behind the design is really good. Though I must say that the white background could have been done in a shade or two darker tone

Looks like good stuff. Profit and the environment can co-exist. In fact they can thrive together.
